Avenica is searching for an Entry Level Logistics Analyst with a great client with international business reach. This position will support the team responsible for purchases of materials and equipment, services or supplies at lowest cost consistent with required quality, quantity and availability.  The Analyst will actively research and analyze large amounts of data and develop new sources of supply and/or recommends possible improvements. 


Duties May Include: 

  • Collect market information, manage adherence to best practices and policies
  • Pursue cost reduction initiatives and quality control
  • Customs entry writing and validation activities, import clearance monitoring, control and payment of customs and brokerage bills as well as post entry controls
  • Improve and upgrade inventory systems and reporting
  • Ensuring products are received on time and are available to fill customer orders
  • Ensure that internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met
  • Resolve conflicts concerning materials or services at the department and supplier levels
  • Prepare and present special reports to various groups; set up profiles and provide training and technical support for users of supplier web sites.


We are looking for recent college graduates with degree in liberal arts or business. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics or similar business oriented degree. 
  • Strong computer skills - Excel knowledge is of high importance
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability and motivation to provide great customer service
  • Ability to take initiative, working independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude
  • Trustworthy – able to handle client information in a confidential manner
