 Avenica is currently recruiting for an IT Customer Support / Help Desk position. This is a great entry level position with ample opportunities for professional growth and development. 


Duties May Include:

  • Under general supervision, monitor, operate and maintain hardware, software, and network for total company.
  • Configure, assemble, and install workstation and/or peripheral equipment.
  • Train employees in software and business related issues.
  • Perform system backup and recovery activities.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting.
  • Stay current on latest releases of application as well as relevant business knowledge.
  • Meet with staff to develop unique project plans to simplify implementation.
  • Participate in software/hardware testing.

 
Qualifications for Success:

  • Bachelor's degree is required. All majors are encouraged to apply - Marketing, Business, Management, Communications, Public Relations, Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Liberal Arts, History, Political Science and more!
  • 0-3 years of professional experience. Technical support experience is a plus but is not required.
  • Strong software and hardware troubleshooting skills 
  • Ability to understand, diagnose, and resolve issues with a large range of applications including but not limited to web browsers, word processing, spreadsheets, viruses, spyware, and virtual office communications.
  • Exceptional written and oral skills, as well as the ability to translate technical jargon into user-friendly terms to effectively communicate issues and resolutions
  • Create documentation of best practices 
  • Ability and desire to acquire new skills and knowledge quickly. 
  • Must be self-guided individual, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Must have high integrity and a strong work ethic.
