Overview:

Avenica is currently recruiting for a Business Analyst position. This is a great entry level position with opportunities for professional growth and development. The Analyst will support the company's growth and financial goals by performing data mining and analysis that impacts foundational pricing and risk assumptions. Sharing findings with other departments and clients is a large part of the analyst position. Candidates must be highly analytical and possess excellent communication/relationship skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and maintain data to ensure accuracy of reporting and analysis
  • Perform analysis, modeling, and other quantitative techniques as needed to answer business questions and evaluate business issues and objections\
  • Document and report findings
  • Identify and resolve problems
  • Participate in improvement of master data management process.


Qualifications/characteristics of a successful candidate:

•       Bachelor's degree - all majors encouraged to apply, especially business and finance

•       0-3 years of professional experience.

•       Strong analytical skills, work ethic, independence, problem solving ability, effective communication skills, and overall positive attitude.

•       Excellent oral and written communication skills.

•       Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

•       Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task while under pressure.

•       Customer service oriented.
